This is a new small Titanium Flame Kyanite crystal specimen. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. Titanium Flame Kyanite is Black Kyanite from Minas Gerais, Brazil, which has been enhanced with pure Titanium, creating beautiful rainbow colors. The Titanium molecules adhere to the natural electric charge surrounding the crystal, and are not removed by rubbing/scraping. It combines the properties of Black Kyanite and Titanium, producing a powerful protection and clearing energy.
Kyanite is one of THE best stones for protection and I highly recommend it. Kyanite comes in several colors and black is a little more unusual. (Blue is the most common color of Kyanite.) I almost always have a piece of Kyanite on me wherever I am. This piece has a very natural, organic, feel to it as far as physical texture goes. Black Kyanite is a fibrous mineral that forms in long, thin "needles" or "fibers" that stick together and create natural fan-like formations. The Titanium molecules create shimmery metallic rainbow colors including purple, blue, orange, gold, and green. Very pretty! Especially in bright sunlight. Great for use in a crystal grid, medicine bag, etc.
Should you wish to clear/cleanse this piece anyway, I would NOT recommend submerging it in water as that may negatively effect the physical integrity of the stone due to the way Kyanite forms. Moonlight or sunlight are safer options.

Kyanite comes in a number of colors. It supports and aids the attunement of the physical, emotional and etheric bodies. It is a powerful stone that also helps to align the Chakras naturally. Kyanite also facilitates meditation.
It is also a protective stone and does this by assisting in keeping the subtle energies moving and flowing freely and quickly from Crown to Root Chakra, helping to keep it free of entities. The movement also makes it harder for "psychic vampires" to latch on and drain you.
