This is an unusual and beautiful Rubycrosite / AKA Ruby in Zoisite / AKA Anyolite Crystal Skull. It has been here charging with Synergy for 7+ years.
In more scientific circles it is sometimes known as "Anyolite" because "Anyoli" is the Maasai word for "green". This one combines green Zoisite with dark red/purple Ruby crystals, black Tschermakite/Hornblende, and a small amount of white highlights. It is mainly found in Tanzania.
You can feel a few subtle organic inclusions as you run your fingers over the stone. These come from formations close to the surface as the skull was shaped and polished.
