This is an unusual Turquoise crystal skull. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. This is actual Turquoise, from the Hubei province in China. The blue-green background has some really cool black and reddish brown matrix mixed in creating some truly gorgeous patterns. This is the natural coloring, although it has been stabilized. Almost every piece of Turquoise on the market, from any source, is stabilized. Stabilizing stones, especially Turquoise, is an accepted and necessary process. This is to increase the hardness and durability so that you can wear and enjoy your Turquoise for many years.
