This is a beautiful and delicate mini HUMMINGBIRD with a flower stand. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. The hummingbird's body is a light pink Calcite, with gold Mother of Pearl beak, tail, and wings. The flower blossom is Rainbow Jasper, with green Serpentine leaves, on a Quartz crystal base. It is very detailed! I love these little guys. It is two pieces - the bird itself, and the flower stand.
This was both carved and assembled in Peru. There is a bit of the epoxy visible here and there (clear, slight yellow tint).
When placed in the flower stand, it measures about 1 3/4" inches tall by 1 1/2" inches wide across the wings. Code-121422-3690

Serpentine is an excellent stone for meditation and past life work.
It is also used when attempting to raise the Kundalini, as it is said to facilitate the rise of energy by opening a path, which eliminates or lessens the discomfort associated with the rise. But be very cautious and careful doing this!

Quartz is often said to be the crystal or "stone" that everyone needs to start with. Quartz is the most recognized type of crystal and is what many people think of when they hear the word crystal, although there are many, many different types of crystals in all kinds of stones.
Quartz can be as clear as ice (ancients called quartz ‘Holy Ice’ and thought that it came from the heavens) or milky white.
It can have inclusions, veils, bubbles, unusual formations, etc. Clarity is not important for the energetic quality of a quartz crystal, and in fact, inclusions and impurities can make the crystal much more energetic, and increase its ability to store and amplify subtle energies.
