This is a beautiful piece of Lepidolite Mica from Brazil. It has been here charging with Synergy for 10+ years. A gorgeous purple specimen with shimmery areas all throughout! I love the geometric shapes in this one. The physical structure consists of MANY very, very thin 'sheets' of stone pressed together and the lavender coloring comes from this mineral being rich with lithium. Lepidolite comes from the Greek word lepidos, meaning scale, because it normally appears "scaly" due to the way it forms - pretty cool! This piece has been left 100% natural so you can see (and feel) some organic areas here and there throughout. They are 100% natural parts of the stone.
It is normal for tiny flakes (or 'scales'!) to "shed" off of the main crystal because of the immense number of tiny layers that make up the stone. It does not affect the beauty or energy of the piece - just be aware that some "shedding" is 100% normal. :-) A VERY energetic piece and quite intricate. The more you look, the more beauty you will see. MUCH nicer 'in person' than the photos can show - I guarantee it! Check out how it works with subtle energies below. I would NOT recommend submerging this piece in water if you wish to cleanse it. It would compromise the structural integrity of the stone.
