This is a rough Prehnite crystal specimen with dark green Epidote crystals penetrating it throughout. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. It is approximately 170 carats. The Prehnite has a pretty apple green coloring, with botryoidal formations (clusters of round nodules resembling grapes), and the Epidote is darker dark green with interesting physical textures/formations. Shimmery areas catch the light as you move it around in your hands.
This is a natural specimen, it has not been polished or altered in any way. As such, there are organic spots/inclusions here and there throughout. You can feel them as you run your fingers over the stone. ALL inclusions present come from 100% natural parts of the stone. Check out the metaphysical properties below!
It weighs approximately 0.8oz / 22 grams / 110 carats and measures 1 1/2" inches long X 1 1/16" inches wide (at the widest point) X about 3/4" inch thick at the thickest point (varies a bit throughout). Code-82522-8
