This is a Moroccan Vanadinite specimen, showcasing the crystals on their natural matrix. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. The crystals are a deep reddish orange, and VERY sparkly, so this looks really fabulous in the sunlight! Hints of peachy colored Barite are visible in one area as well. This is a natural specimen, it has not been polished or treated in any way. Due to the way the crystals and matrix stone have formed, it is common for tiny pieces to flake off now and then. Vanadinite is a Vanadium mineral which is frequently found with Quartz crystals. It is said to support calm and encourage spiritual insights, and assist with meditation and focus as well as communicating with higher Beings. It is a stone of Harmony and Peace.
