This is a vibrant and stunning Amphibole Quartz crystal point. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. Amphibole Quartz aka Angel Phantom Quartz, or Angel Wing Phantom Quartz as trade names. Amphibole Quartz is a highly included quartz from Brazil. Amphiboles form as long prismatic crystals, radiating sprays and fibrous aggregates; forms mostly depend on the iron content. This particular piece has very interesting patterns and stripes/banding! Clear Quartz surrounds the Amphibole inclusions.
This is a natural piece, and as such has small organic spots throughout from inclusions that are near the surface. All formations are 100% natural parts of the crystal.
