This is a rare and unusual BLOODSTONE + Moss Agate mix Phoenix crystal skull! Both Bloodstone and Moss Agate are members of the Chalcedony family. :-> Bloodstone is sometimes also known as Heliotrope or St. Stephen's Stone. The dark green background is accented with complex patterns and shades of blue-green/grey/white/clear Agate with some nicely defined "moss" inclusions (not actually plant matter!). Accents of golden brown/orange, lighter green, and the tiny bright red speckles that Bloodstone is known for are also present. The speckles are mainly along the length of the beak. (Bloodstone is an opaque green form of Chalcedony. Moss Agate is a variety of Dendritic Agate, which is a member of the Chalcedony family, that contains inclusions of green minerals such as Chlorite and Hornblende.)
