This is a small Brazilian SUPER 7 standing stone. Also known as "Sacred 7", or "Melody's Stone". Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. Super 7 specimens retain the properties of 7 minerals - Quartz, Amethyst, Smokey Quartz, Rutiles, Goethite, Lepidocrocite, and Cacoxenite (even when the specimen does not visibly show all 7 minerals.) Nice colors and patterns in this one, including reddish orange HEMATITE, and small shimmery areas that catch the light as you move it around in your hands and small shallow VUGS throughout. Vugs are natural formations, sometimes also known as "crystal cave inclusions", and considered highly collectible. It is very energetic! Great for use in a crystal grid, sacred arrangement, or as an interesting display piece.
This piece has been polished. Tiny organic spots here and there are still present from inclusions that are within the crystal. They can look like small indents, tiny notches, fine lines on the surface, etc. ALL inclusions come from 100% natural formations in the crystal. Super Seven, aka Melody's Stone, Sacred 7, or (most recently) Synergy 7, often looks like amethyst that has some unusual coloration. It is a crystal that forms near varying amounts of minerals and other crystals, namely a combination of amethyst, smoky quartz, clear quartz, rutile, goethite, lepidocrosite and cacoxenite.
Each piece retains the properties of the entire combination as the energies of each are said to be present, even if a particular piece does include all seven minerals. It's also reputed to amplify and enhance various types of psychic abilities, and supports the opening of one's Third Eye.
It is a powerful crystal, and is excellent to use in meditation.
