This is an amazing and one of a kind life-size Himalayan Quartz Crystal Skull with Smoky Amethyst PHANTOMS in the chin. Approximately the size of a human teenager or adult. Shown next to a 355ml/12oz soda can for size comparison. It weighs about 13lbs 15.4oz (so just under 14lbs). It has been here charging with Synergy for 5+ years now. The stone itself is Himalayan, from the Himalaya Mountains near the Nepal/Tibet border, and very energetic. Himalayan Quartz is also some of the most energetic in the world because of the seismic activity in the mountain range, and how those mountains were created over 40 million years ago. (Scientists have found that the range formed from the collision of two major tectonic plates - the Indian Plate and Eurasian Plate.) The nostrils are drilled all the way through the stone (and come out in the underside of the skull). This was done intentionally, so that you can use circular breathing exercises/techniques to connect with/work with this skull.
You can see a layer in the stone, starting in the upper teeth and running toward the back of the head diagonally, with small red/reddish orange HEMATITE inclusions in it (best visible through the underside), transitioning into the chin with the Smoky Amethyst PHANTOMS. The entire stone has intricate "grain" in the crystal, running vertically/diagonally throughout. Small shimmery areas and rainbows are present all across the skull. They catch the light as you move the stone around in your hands. While the majority of the Hematite is in that "plane" in the lower part of the skull, smaller inclusions are present here and there - including in/around the top of the head, around the left eye socket, and in/around the sides of the head.
It weighs about 13lbs 15.4oz (so just under 14lbs) and measures approximately 8 7/8" inches long X 5 7/8" inches wide X 6 5/8" inches tall. Code-10292023-21315
There are some small organic spots that come from inclusions or the edges of inclusions that were close to the surface as the stone was polished. They can resemble fine lines on the surface, pinpricks, shallow indents, or small notches. ALL inclusions present come form 100% natural formations in the crystal. I inspect each crystal very carefully before photographing it, and always pick by energy first. All of our Himalayan Quartz skulls have small organic spots on the surface from inclusions that were close to the surface as the stone was shaped and polished. These do not affect the energy or, I think, the overall look. Some people do not appreciate natural inclusions. I think it adds to the overall effect to have the natural inclusions in place. It takes a skilled carver to work with and honor the natural the crystal and not break the inner energy matrix. (But that is a personal preference!)
Phantom Crystals are associated with the awareness of how all life is connected. It’s been used to assist in clairvoyance. Polished and unpolished specimens are both excellent.
