This is a Blue Apatite crystal palm stone. The stone itself comes from Madagascar. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. It has a lovely blue/blue-green coloring with grey and reddish marbling here and there (the latter being Iron content). Plus hints of shimmer here and there that catch the light as you move the stone around in your hands. Very nice! Madagascar has some of the most energetic and unique minerals on Earth, and they are a personal favorite of mine. It picks up different tones depending on the background (light vs. dark) it is set against, the lighting (natural vs. fluorescent), etc.
There are some tiny organic spots here and there throughout from inclusions that were close to the surface as the stone was polished. ALL inclusions present come from 100% natural formations in the stone. So cool! Truly a unique piece! Check out how it works with subtle energies below.
It weighs about 6.6oz and measures approximately 2 1/2" inches long X 2" inches wide X 1 3/16" inches thick! Code-080223-771

It is considered to be a stone suitable for a teacher, as it is said to stimulate the mind, and help others to do the same. It is thought to support the use of one's imagination and increase intuition.
Some feel that it is also useful when one is looking for the deeper purpose and meaning in their life, as well as the truth about oneself.
Apatite has been used to enhance the energies of other crystals and stones.
It comes in several colors, including white, golden orange, yellow, green, blue (light, blue-green, and dark), and violet.
Among the other properties, Blue Apatite is a stone for facilitating and supporting constructive communication.
In Crystal Healing, Apatite is used to assist with allergies, arthritis, muscle pain and support of the nervous system.
It is associated with the Throat Chakra and other chakras, somewhat depending on the color.
Native legends speak of crystal skulls as an inheritance from ancient times. Said to “talk and sing” they are believed to carry messages for all mankind, including what may be discovered when we overcome our fear of death.
