This is a beautiful Larvikite OWL totem. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. One of the last I have, and I was only been able to get them once. The background coloring is a medium dark blue-ish grey with black marbling/accents, and lovely patches of silvery or silvery with hints of blue shimmer that catch the light as you move the stone around in your hands. These shimmery areas are actually Feldspar crystals exhibiting the Schiller effect. Schiller is German for "shining" or "twinkle". (For this reason, sometimes Larvikite is confused for Labradorite.) There are a few tiny organic spots here and there from inclusions that were close to the surface as the stone was carved and polished. ALL inclusions present come from 100% natural formations in the stone.

Larvikite is a powerful protective and grounding stone. It has been used to work with Nature Spirits, (also called devas, Nature Spirits, or the fairy / faerie kingdom.) It is a stone of stability and protection.
