This is a lovely INDIGO GABBRO crystal pyramid. It has been here charging with Synergy for 10+ years. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. The stone itself is from Madagascar. In recent years, people have begun to call this stone "Mystic Merlinite" sometimes, which is a trade name. It has beautiful dark purple, grey-ish purple, and lavender patterns with black marbling throughout. The black inclusions are made up of Hornblende content, and some of these areas have a silvery chatoyant / shimmery quality that catches the light as you move the stone around in your hands. Extra fabulous in bright light / sunlight.
There are a few tiny organic spots here and there. These come from inclusions that were close to the surface as the stone was polished. They can be found on flat surfaces, edges, or around the corners/points. I inspect each piece carefully before photographing. ALL inclusions present come from 100% natural formations in the crystal.
