This is a fantastic specimen of Elestialized Quartz with a HEAVY amount of Clinochlore Chlorite inclusions all throughout, giving it a very deep green coloring. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. It can even look black at first glance as there are so many Chlorite inclusions present. Under bright light, your fingertips, and as you turn it around you will find that it is full of sparkly tiny facets around every surface. I LOVE the energy. It would be excellent for use in a healing practice. Clinochlore is part of the Chlorite group, and higher in Magnesium, which gives it its green color. All Clinochlores are Chlorites, however not all Chlorites are Clinochlores.
Note: This is a newer find. Some vendors are mistakenly calling this "Seraphinite in Quartz". Seraphnite is a form of Clinochlore, however it forms in very specific radiating fibrous "fan" or "feather"-like shapes. I have also seen this particular material being called "Primalite" which is a trade name of uncertain origin.
