This is a carved Golden Tiger Eye Sea Turtle AKA Honu totem. It has some cool organic looking patterns, as well as LOTS of pretty shimmery areas visible throughout from different angles. I love it! It looks especially awesome in sunlight.
It has some small organic spots here and there from inclusions that were close to the surface as the stone was polished. ALL inclusions present are natural parts of the stone. A very special addition to any collection. MUCH nicer in person than the photos can show, I guarantee it. Check out how it works with subtle energies below!
It weighs about 1.3oz and measures approx. 2 1/4" inches long (tip of nose to tip of back flippers) X 1 7/8" inches wide (outer edge of left feet to outer edge of right flippers). Code-011923-3698
As a totem animal, the Turtle teaches us to slow down and enjoy life at a steady pace, without overwhelming ourselves. The Turtle is one of the oldest symbols for Mother Earth, and reminds us to be mindful of respecting Mother Earth in everyday life. Turtle is a great teacher of the art of Grounding! Being well Grounded helps to clear one's head and aid in focusing.
