This is a carved Rose Quartz crystal Unicorn bust/head. Amazingly detailed! It does stand upright on its own. It was carved from a SINGLE PIECE of stone which takes exceptional skill. This is high quality Rose Quartz, with a number of areas that are considered "gemmy" in the stone busines. These are marked by a lovely translucent quality. Interesting patterns/inclusions are visible throughout, including shimmery areas and rainbows that show up as you move the stone around in your hands. Some lovely reddish orange/golden orange HEMATITE is present running down the mane on the right side of the head.
As mentioned above, this Unicorn is carved from a single piece of crystal, including the horn, which is my personal preference as the energy matrix is totally intact. The level of detail that's present throughout this piece is just gorgeous. The face, the horn, the delicate lines of the flowing mane... pure magic!
A few small organic spots are present here and there, from inclusions/formations that were close to the surface as the Unicorn was shaped and polished. I inspect each piece very carefully before photographing. ALL formations are 100% natural parts of the stone and does not affect the beauty or energy of the stone.

As a totem animal, the Unicorn represents purity and innocence. It is said that the Unicorn gives us the ability to make our dreams come true, and helps to restore broken spirits on an emotional level. The Unicorn also has connections to the Spirits of the Forests, and the Fairy Folk.
