This is a ANGEL WINGS SELENITE / FISHTAIL SELENITE crystal specimen from Mexico. It has intricate striations from the layers that make up the stone, a pretty shimmery quality that shows up as you move the stone around in your hands, and even some small rainbows pressed into the layers in some areas. Do NOT submerge it in water, or the physical structure of the formation will degrade! Due to the way this crystal formed, it is normal for small flecks or pieces of stone to "shed" occasionally. This includes during transit, so if you open the packaging and there is some dust or tiny pieces of grit inside - that is why.
