This is a super cool 2XL "Metamorphosis Crystal Skull"! Shown next to a 12oz/355ml soda can for size comparison. The carved skull face and jaw give way to weird and intricate formations that have been left natural rather than polished down! I LOVE THESE! It has a Limestone (creamy tan) and Quartz (dark grey) matrix with LOTS of natural cubic Pyrite inclusions throughout! You'll find new and interesting features from every angle as you turn it around in your hands!
Due to the way this one was carved, and the rock and mineral composition, it's natural for small pieces of matrix to shed or flake. These pieces were intentionally left with natural areas, and so organic spots/inclusions are present all over. I personally feel that these kinds of natural inclusions are special and love them!
