This is a carved Goldstone Flying Pig. Lots of sparkles with a pretty coppery red coloring and a few darker stripes here and there around the wings. Nice simple, clean details. There may be a few tiny organic spots here and there from inclusions that were close to the surface as the pig was shaped and polished. ALL inclusions present are 100% natural parts of the stone. As a totem animal, the Pig represents wealth, prosperity, and luck. The pig helps us to take the right actions or paths in our lives. The Greek Goddess Demeter kept a sacred pig which later became a symbol of fertility! The Pig is seen, by some Native American tribes, to represent the abundance of daily life, and believe that it can teach us how to celebrate life every day, and to share that joy with others.
