This is an oval shaped TOURMILATED QUARTZ crystal pendant. The setting and bail are sterling silver. It has both high clarity areas and interesting patterns/inclusions visible, including some subtle reddish orange HEMATITE near the top, and of course... the black Tourmaline needles! Much nicer 'in person' than any photos can show.

Tourmilated Quartz is clear or milky Quartz with black Tourmaline needles as inclusions - the tourmaline crystals are actually growing inside of the quartz crystal.
The energy of the Tourmaline is intensified amplified by the quartz. This is considered to be a "lucky" stones to carry.
It is a protective and grounding combination and is thought to transform and transmute fear, stress and anger, bringing in positive energies to replace them. Black Tourmaline is also used to repel negativity and is thought to be a great stone to add to your "bag of tricks" to repel psychic attacks.
